Itinerary

DAY 1 – Arrival and Check in, Sailing out to Elaphiti Islands

Kolocep Island swimming, sailing to Lopud and Sipan Islands

We sail toward Koločep Island, stopping for a refreshing swim along the way. Once on board, our crew helps you settle in and shows you everything the catamaran has to offer. We’ll explore hidden coves for swimming and water sports, and even visit the famous Blue Cave. Midday, we stop for a delicious lunch at a local fisherman’s tavern, before continuing our sail past Lopud Island to anchor for the night in a tranquil bay on Šipan Island.

Dinner is mandatory at a local restaurant in Sipan, as the mooring spot is provided by the restaurant (not included).

Activities: swimming and snorekling
Accommodation: catamaran

DAY 2 – Sailing to Mljet Island

Cycling, swimming & snorkeling in National Park

We sail to Mljet Island, home to the first and oldest Mediterranean national park. Explore the park’s lush Mediterranean forests and sparkling turquoise waters by bicycle or on foot. Hike scenic trails, discover the island’s history and culture, swim, and snorkel in the clear, inviting waters. Take a boat to the small island on the larger lake to visit the 12th-century Benedictine Monastery of St. Mary. (National park entrance fee is paid on-site.)

DAY 3 – Peljesac Peninsula

Peljesac Peninsula paddleboarding, swimming and snorkeling.

We spend the morning paddleboarding, swimming, and snorkeling before sailing east toward Broce and the historic town of Ston. A fascinating little-known fact: the ancient walls of Ston are the second-longest in the world, surpassed only by the Great Wall of China. They were originally built to protect the town’s salt production, which was a major export of the Dubrovnik Republic.

You can walk along the walls connecting Ston and Mali Ston, famous for its oyster farms producing the prized Ostrea edulis. The Pelješac Peninsula is also one of Croatia’s top wine regions, home to the ancient Plavac Mali red wine, over 2,000 years old and rarely found outside of Croatia.

In the afternoon, we sail back to the serene Elaphiti Archipelago and anchor for the night.

Accommodation: catamaran
Meals: B

DAY 4 – Elaphiti Islands

Elaphiti Islands cruise

On the way back, we sail by the green Elaphiti Islands, stopping for breakfast and a swim before disembarking. Planning to visit Plitvice Lakes? Our guides can continue with you. Exploring other parts of Croatia? Ask them for insider tips on hidden gems.

Discover Croatia — Highlights of Your Journey

Dubrovnik

  • UNESCO World Heritage Old Town, one of Croatia’s most famous cities.
  • From the 13th–17th century, a powerful maritime republic with Europe’s strongest merchant fleet.
  • Citizens valued freedom highly — no personal glorifications allowed except for the legendary knight Orlando.
  • A pioneer in human rights: Dubrovnik banned slavery in 1416, centuries before most of Europe.
  • Historic friendship with the USA: Dubrovnik was the first European state to recognize the independence of the American states in 1783.
  • Surrounded by 6-meter-thick city walls, Dubrovnik is one of medieval Europe’s most fortified cities.
  • Introduced a 14-day quarantine to protect against the plague.
  • Survived the 1990s conflict with stunning Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture preserved.
  • Popular filming location for Game of Thrones and Star Wars.

Elaphiti Archipelago

  • Consists of 8 islands and 5 islets, only three inhabited: Koločep (150), Lopud (269), Šipan (500).
  • Inhabited since ancient times — features forts, medieval summer houses, and churches.
  • Šipan is famous for its ancient olive tree tradition; young men once had to plant 40 trees to marry.
  • Dense pine forests meet turquoise seas, rich in marine life.
  • Beautiful sea caves and sandy beaches, including Šunj Beach, the most popular in southern Dalmatia.

Mljet – National Park

  • Homer’s Ogygia Island, where Odysseus was enchanted.
  • Anchor at Polača, named for medieval Roman palace ruins.
